1. Open Angel Forum delayed

Open Angel Forum Colorado #3 is being delayed until mid to late January.

We received just a few positive RSVPs for the event from angel investors, and about 20 regrets. We simply picked a bad date. Many of the angels we invited were already traveling elsewhere or had other commitments. So, rather than hold the event with weak investor attendance, we’ve decided to delay it until next month after the holidays once schedules have settled down. We’ll announce the new date soon, but first I’m going to check with more of the investors this time. ;-)

If you’ve applied – either as an angel or a presenter – there’s nothing to do. We’ll still consider your applications for the new date once announced. Sorry about the delay!

Follow my blog or my twitter account or the Open Angel Forum blog for info about the new date, which I’ll announce in early January or before.

San Diego and Entrepreneurial Communities

Last night, I was invited by Xconomy to come to San Diego and talk about entrepreneurial communities at a private dinner that had about 25 entrepreneurs and investors that care deeply about the issue. It was a great group of people and a lively discussion to say the least. Xconomy had asked that I share [...]
