Twitter for a day

Ok, I’ve been using twitter for a day via Twitterific. I’ve heard so much about it, that I just had to check it out.

It’s kind of neat and fun. They’ve made it very easy (via IM, web, or Twitterific on my desktop) to easily say what I’m doing. It takes almost no time, which is very key.

What I get back is a running log of what my friends are up to (I only have two friends on Twitter so far). It’s pretty neat to see what they’re doing all day long. It has very little practical value, but it’s just connecting me with them a little bit more.

You know how sometimes you put the city you’re visiting or the mood you’re in into your IM client so your friends can see what you’re doing/thinking? That’s all twitter really is. Another way to think of it is “broadcast one way IM.”

Here’s what I (and my friends) have been up to lately. Don’t forget to scroll down to see how exciting our lives really are. I have no idea how long I’ll keep twittering. If you are twittering, drop me a note and let’s connect.
