Jil bought us amazing seats to the CU/FSU game that was here in Boulder last weekend as an End of TechStars gift. They were on the 30 yard line, in row 5 behind the FSU bench. You can get a sense of how great these seats were in these pics. Bowden loved to pace right in front of us.
The game itself was pretty much dominated by FSU, with CU scoring one TD on 4th and forever during the closing minutes of the game, once it was beyond reach. CU’s offense was pretty horrible, which made me feel a little better about FSU’s only dismal offense. On the positive side FSU’s defense seemed fairly solid, but it was hard to tell if CU just had none of if FSU’s speed was just too much for them.
My buddy Tosh who works at GooSketchTube sent me this time lapse of the recent blizzard here in Colorado. It goes too fast, so stop it and drag the slider yourself so you can control the pace.
You can read all about it using the links above. This has been my big project for the past several months, and gets cranking in the summer. We’re seed funding ten new tech companies, and setting up a startup boot camp. We hook them up with many successful entrepreneurs, coach them during the summer, and set up an investor day at the end of the summer where we hope they can raise more money if needed.
We went on a 5 mile walk along South Boulder Creek Trail recently. This is a pretty walk that is very easy. Ellie (dog) and Jil’s parents went with us and we had a great time. Here are a few snaps.
